El libro está escrito con un estilo muy personal y una estructura cronológica; Àngela repasa su infancia y cuenta cómo empezaron sus años grises, cuando de repente, de un día para otro y sin saber ni cómo ni por qué alguien la eligió y la convirtió en el objetivo de las burlas, las presiones y los insultos. Àngela cuenta cómo sufrió todos aquellos abusos, y cómo además todo se complicó cayendo en la bulimia, algo muy habitual en estos casos, pues elbullying suele derivar en algún trastorno alimenticio. Culpabilidad, miedo, tristeza, falta de autoestima…Àngela, como sucede con todos los niños que sufrenbullying, se encontraba en un pozo del que parecía imposible salir.
