Realmente me pareció entretenida, conmovedora e interesante por los valores que nos inculca. Digna de una lectura obligatoria para niños y adolescentes. Una lectura ecológica. No aburre ni cansa, muy dinámica, adecuada para leerla de una sola sentada. Es bastante detallista a la hora de describir el espacio geográfico donde transcurren los hechos y cómo viven los habitantes de La Ceibita y otros puntos geográficos que sirven de escenario. Los personajes son algo cómicos, reflejan mucho la ignorancia, lo ingenuo, el miedo y las creencias en mitos, en leyendas e historietas que solían hacer los padres o la gente de la vecindad como una manera de entretenimiento, pero que también los adultos compartían en grupos, que, aunque no eran parientes, compartían de manera casi familiar. En resumen: es una novela corta, de solo cuatro capítulos, que busca dejar varias enseñanzas al niño y a los adolescentes, como dije al principio para desmenuzarla en una sola sentada, apta para el cine.
