Los poemas que William Blake reunió en el manuscrito que se publica en este volumen constituyen sin duda el mejor resumen posible de su producción literaria. Siguiendo la tradición de nombrar un poemario con el título de su texto más célebre, hemos optado aquí por llamar "Augurios de inocencia" a este importante conjunto de obras blakeanas.

Jackie's goal is perfection―perfect grades, the perfect look, getting into the perfect school. If she can achieve that, then maybe her too-busy mom and dad will take notice. But when her parents die in a tragic accident, Jackie is shipped off across the country to live with the Walters, her new guardians…who just happen to have eleven sons (plus a daughter who is basically one of the boys). Soon Adam finds himself tangled in something far darker than even Corinne's deception, and realizes that if he doesn't make exactly the right moves, the conspiracy he’s stumbled into will not only ruin lives—it will end them.

En lenguaje musical se entiende por «suite» una composición integrada por movimientos variados que, no obstante, encuentran su apoyo en la misma tonalidad. Las suites de Federico García Lorca parten de la misma idea, aplicada esta vez a la lírica: establecer series de poemas formalmente heterogéneos que giren alrededor de un tema común. Sin embargo, su temprana muerte truncó el que había de ser un ambicioso proyecto en el que se recogían obras inéditas o ya publicadas, escritas todas ellas entre 1920 y 1923, bajo el signo de una nueva armonía.

En este libro, amén del impresionante poemario Poeta en Nueva York, se presentan las obras Tierra y luna, los Poemas sueltos II y III, Poemas en prosa, Diván de Tamarit, Sonetos, Seis poemas galegos y el Llanto por Ignacio Sánchez Mejías. Asimismo, se ofrecen las conferencias de Un poeta en Nueva York, Cómo canta una ciudad de noviembre a noviembre y el Ensayo o poema sobre el toro en España. La edición y los prólogos a cargo de Miguel García-Posada, permiten al lector acercarse a la complejidad de su obra y disfrutar, a lo largo de los siete volúmenes que componen esta Biblioteca Federico García Lorca, de uno de los autores españoles más relevantes del siglo XX.

Una experiencia personal del propio Tolstói fue la inspiración para La tormenta de nieve, que vio la luz en 1856 en la revista El contemporáneo. Una ventisca sorprende a un viajero y su cochero en la estepa rusa y les aparta de su camino. Cuando el cochero decide volverse, el viajero se une a una caravana en la que conocerá a una serie de variopintos personajes. Una obra temprana del gran autor ruso que, en su brevedad, aborda temas como la superación de obstáculos, la vanidad o la búsqueda de reconocimiento.
