Al leer, me he encontrado con un torbellino que me asfixia, me llena de rabia, angustia e impotencia. Pero al concluir, respiro aire limpio, alzo la vista y descubro que, a pesar de la tormenta, hay un rayo de luz. Una pequeña piedra que puede pulverizar aquello que me hace explotar: la injusticia. Mi propósito al escribir este libro es fomentar la empatía y el diálogo comunitario, promover el teatro como herramienta de transformación social, visibilizar las distintas formas de violencia que enfrentan las mujeres y cómo esta se oculta en la rutina, en la mirada social, en el silencio.

Hicks McTaggart, a onetime strikebreaker turned private eye, thinks he’s found job security until he gets sent out on what should be a routine case, locating and bringing back the heiress of a Wisconsin cheese fortune who’s taken a mind to go wandering.
