Con motivo del 50 aniversario de su publicación, una nueva edición de uno de los grandes poemarios de la literatura española contemporánea. En 1975 se publicó Sepulcro en Tarquinia, que recibió entonces el Premio Nacional de la Crítica y cuya lectura habría de marcar a varias generaciones. Una obra por la que no ha pasado el tiempo y que presentamos ahora acompañada por los comentarios de dos prestigiosos hispanistas, Vicenç Beltran e Isabella Tomassetti.

Maisie Jones usa un par de gafas diferentes cada día, ama las novelas policíacas y su trabajo como médica residente en el Hospital Whitestone, el cual no quiere perder. No por su asma y definitivamente no por Grant Masterson: el enfermero que sonríe cada vez que la ve y que logra que se le acelere el pulso. Hicks McTaggart, a onetime strikebreaker turned private eye, thinks he’s found job security until he gets sent out on what should be a routine case, locating and bringing back the heiress of a Wisconsin cheese fortune who’s taken a mind to go wandering. Reporter Vera Vixen is a relative newcomer to Shady Hollow. The fox has a nose for news, so when she catches wind that the death might be a murder, she resolves to get to the bottom of the case, no matter where it leads. As she stirs up still waters, the fox exposes more than one mystery, and discovers that additional lives are in jeopardy. Vera finds more to this town than she ever suspected. It seems someone in the Hollow will do anything to keep her from solving the murder, and soon it will take all of Vera’s cunning and quickness to crack the case.
