Una historia –como una vida– cuando se evalúa, puede considerarse buena, regular o mala y además casi siempre refleja, en una que otra medida, un retrato y retablo de variadas estampas de la época en que se desarrolla. Todo ello puede servir también para describir el entorno de la localidad o las localidades geográficas, ámbitos y realidades transcurridas, que pueden haber cambiado con el transcurso del tiempo. Mi historia y mi vida no tienen categoría excepcional, mis dones y mis pecados son potables a los demás, pero, en fin, caramba, es mi historia y eso basta, y como tal, al igual que las de los lectores, pude servir de referente para vivir y contar otras historias en desarrollo, y por eso también vale la pena contarla. Naturalmente, para hacerlo y para que el relato sirva para algo, hay que narrar todo con sinceridad y honestidad y así lo hago, sin amarrar detalles en el palo mayor de los egos y domando los demonios de esa vanidad que tenemos todos en alguna medida, pero que debe ser también sensata y comedida.
