These stories distilled the visual language of Disney films and brought historic and contemporary tales to life through compelling and inventive works of art. Las hermanas Brontë nacieron en la sociedad inglesa del siglo XIX, en donde el papel de la mujer estaba muy delimitado; se dedicaron a la literatura en contra de las normas y conductas de la época, una actividad vetada por aquel entonces a las mujeres.
